This is another poem that came to me in February of this year:
This is not a world that honors the mute
Or pays them dearly for their gifts
Speak Up
So I can hear you
Speak Up
So I can see you
Speak Up
So I can have the comfort
Of Knowing
Mine is not the only voice
My vision, not the only one
So I can be reminded
That all the wisdom of the ages is available to me
Without needing to be contained within my own limits.
